Babies and Playsets!

Good evening family,

Just wanted to show you all some pictures of how blessed we are. First are those of little Emma. Super cute and cuddly, she is still itty-bitty but full of fun and smiles. Second are photos of our new swing set in the back yard. Most of you will remember the old red play set out there with the broken swing and missing slide. Well, with a few great ideas and bargain buys from my wonderful wife and a few hand tools and precise measurements from me, we rehabbed the beast. Check it out and tell me what you think. The kids are loving it. And it gives us more time to sit back and enjoy Emma-Lee's smiles even more.

Love you all!

  1. Yay for babies and slides!! That looks awesome and Emma is adorable! Can you post a picture or two of the swing set from another angle, I can barely even see that there is a new slide :(

Emma is so cute, she's such a carbon copy of Luke and Leona!

  2. Dear Major Paine; whoever you may be (although you do seem to know our grandkids and have some familiarity with the ancient swing set at the Big Bear DeGriselles property, and so I will address you), regarding our grandkids. We'd like to take them to the zoo this month. We're thinking of going about ten in the morning on a Friday, and actually going to the zoo a little later in the day when it isn't so hot. Also, they now have a Chinese festival of sorts, with Chinese acrobats, monkey warriors, and such putting on shows, which we believe said grandkids might enjoy. We could see a couple of the shows Friday late afternoon with them, and spend some time Saturday morning as well, thus avoiding the heat of the day and giving said grandkids some exposure to Chinese culture. Of course, their mother and father might enjoy said performances (I don't know about you--entertainment as such might be A MAJOR PAIN for you), if in fact such a schedule could be met by said parents.

  3. P.S. By the way, Major Paine. We enjoyed the photos. She looks just like her mother. Lucky girl. And it's hard to believe the swing set is still seeing service. We'd thought many times about ripping it out.
Still not sure of your true identity. Are you perhaps one of The Avengers? Have I seen you in one of the trailers that run after the credits? Regardless, PAINFULLY yours, the grandfather of those adorable grandkids, Pop

  5. Love the pictures. Thanks so much and the swing set looks great. It probably cost you more then the $25.00 it cost us to buy it. Sarah and the kids seem to be enjoying it. Love MOM

  6. Cute and adorable. Only a few words taht describe Emma and the family. I wish I lived closer so that I could spoil them. I showed Grandma and Grandpa H the pictures and they would love to have some of the great grandkids to put on their fridge. You are all amazing.
