As the due date gets scarily closer, Tim and I thought we should start talking about dates to have the baby blessing so that way our families can start planning accordingly.
We have two dates in mind, either May 27th (Memorial Day weekend) or the following Sunday, June 3rd. Our Bishop has given us permission to do the blessing on Memorial Day weekend even though it is not a fast Sunday. We don't know if doing it on that weekend will make it easier for people to come (because of a longer holiday weekend) or harder (because of a crazy weekend to travel). We want to know what is easier for everyone in both of our families as far as travel, work, and school go.
Please everyone reply as soon as possible for which weekend works the best and why so that way we can make a decision and let everyone know so travel and work arrangements can be made by everyone. Remember, we also have to take Tim's family's availability into consideration too. Once we hear back from everyone, we will let everyone know what the date will be.
Either weekend would probably work for us but Memorial Day Weekend would be a little bit better just cause it gives us the extra day for traveling back home.
ReplyDeleteMemorial Day weekend would be better for us just because Luke would miss less school, but we will most likly be able to make it either weekend. Although Thom might still be here doing Ranger school if he can get in, but that's a whole other crazy thing.
