Too Much Snow (part 2)
This morning we woke up to another big snow storm. It's funny cause when we got to work (about 30 miles north) they got no snow at all, guess it decided to drop everything right on us! We spent the morning shoveling (well Matt shoveled and I tried to help as much as possible without going into labor 5 weeks early) and even Abby helped out, what a cutie! It's supposed to snow tomorrow and the next day so I think it's safe to say we are ready for spring!

My Big Girl!
Well it's that time, time to say goodbye to crib...
And hello to big girl bed...
My cousin Amanda gave us this super cute big girl bed (which my sister and I painted on Saturday) and Abby loved it right away. We had her helping us paint it and get it all ready and when it finally dried Abby was ecstatic to finally touch it, lol. Abby helped me take down her crib, vacuum underneath it (who knew it could get so dirty under a crib?!) and then finally we had dad bring her bed into her room where we put all her stuffed animals on it and got it looking cute! Abby took her first nap on it yesterday and I was quite surprised by how well she stayed on the bed. Last night I was all ready for her to freak out and not want to sleep in her bed but after about five minute of cuddling I told her I was going to go to bed and would see her in the morning and she did just fine. I know I really lucked out with Abby cause she is such a good girl. So proud of my big girl!

Matt's Graduation and Liam's Baby Blessing
I know it's still a couple months out but we are getting so excited for Matt's graduation and Liam's baby blessing! We decided to try to combine them into one weekend so it would be easier for everyone who would like to come out (which we hope means everyone)! So mark your calendars for the following days...
Matt will have his commencement ceremony (which is the main ceremony) on Thursday, April 25th and on Friday, April 26th there will be a convocation ceremony for the accounting/business department. We don't know the details as far as the location or the times however we should get that information in February or March.
We will be having Liam's baby blessing that Sunday, April 28th in our home ward in Payson (same building as Abby's blessing) and then a luncheon after probably at my sister's clubhouse (just like with Abby). Now if it would be easier to have Liam's baby blessing on Saturday so those needing to drive/fly back home on Sunday could do so we could always do it at home or at the clubhouse. Let me know if that would be easier.
We hope to see you all there, exciting times for sure!

Happy Birthday Abby!
I seriously can't believe my little girl is already two years old. I still remember the first time I looked at her and realized that my life was never going to be the same. I will admit though I never thought I would be as happy as I am right now. She has brought me more joy and happiness then I could ever imagine. Sure the last two years haven't been easy but they have been the greatest two years of my life!
For Abby's 2nd birthday we decided to play it low-key and have just a small party at my mom's house on Sunday (January 6th) after our usual Sunday dinner. Abby's birthday is actually on January 7th but my sister was going to be out of town that night so we decided to do presents and cupcakes the night before. We had a delicious home-made Cafe Rio dinner complete with Cafe Rio rice, Cafe Rio house dressing, and my favorite Cafe Rio sweet pork (well chicken in our case). It was so good! My amazing sister made cupcakes and we had a whole cupcake themed party complete with balloons, stringers, candles, the whole nine yards. It was so much fun watching Abby open presents and just enjoying her big day. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ABBY GIRL!
Some cute video's from the day:

Baxter Batman Steve Louie John Thelin
At approximately 8:00 am on Thursday the twentieth of December 2012,
Baxter Returned to our heavenly father, where he met with Pacino and
Guster. Baxter was constantly on the move, he didn't want to be tied
down, he wanted to explore and see what the world was about. We didn't
pick Baxter out, he picked us out. When we arrived at the pet store he
was the rat who ran to us while the others scurried away. Baxter was the
kindest and most loving rat we have known, with in seconds of meeting
someone he would be licking and loving them. Baxter has been a guardian
over our family, and will continue to do so. His favorite thing to do
was climb up to the highest perch and lookout over the room keeping a
watch on us all. Baxter reveled in our company, he wanted to be with us
every hour of every day. If by chance you passed his caged he would
bound up to the ledge by the door and wait for you to pull him out, and
no one could say no to that. When doing homework he would curl up as
close as he could to you and then get closer, he would then lay there
for hours. Baxter comes from a famous family, his parents where the rats
pulled out of the house in L.A. California shown on A&E's Hoarders.
It was his city rat mentality that kept him strong and fighting until
the end, as in Dylan Thomas' famous poem Do not go gentle into that good night.
