So all this baby talk is making me feel guilty for not posting more about our little Abster (yes that is one of her many nicknames we have found ourselves using). Abby is doing amazing, she is such a good baby (though I really don't have anything to compare her too...we may find out with our next kid that she is a little trouble-maker but for now she is a pretty dang good baby!)
It's true Matt and I haven't had a full nights sleep since she was born (which trust me we aren't surprised in the least about) she does sleep pretty good and I think we are really lucky. The best night we've had so far was when she only woke up once around midnight and then slept until 8am, talk about a good baby!
No offense to everyone out there but I think I can honestly say Abby is the cutest baby in the world! Matt and I make pretty stinkin cute babies just saying. She is constantly making the cutest faces and thankfully I have been able to capture a couple of them on camera. She isn't smiling a ton yet but every once in awhile she sneaks one and it's adorable! I can't wait until she is smiling and laughing all the time.
Matt and I have come to the conclusion that Abby is pretty smart cookie! She is always looking around, observing everything she can. She loves looking at lights, peoples faces, and whatever tv show mom has on at the moment. She loves her binky and though she knows how to yank it out of her mouth she always knows how to maneuver it back in. What a smart little lady!
She absolutely loves being held 24-7! Matt says she is like her mom and hates to be by herself, I think I agree. Whenever she falls asleep if we try to put her in her cradle she starts crying. Once she is being held again though she instantly falls back asleep. She is just so at ease when she is in someones arms (and so far it can be just about anyone's arms which makes it nice for me). She can also tell the difference between our bed and her cradle and pretty much hates her cradle. I can't blame her though, our bed is pretty stink soft and cozy!
I can't wait for all of you to meet our little baby girl. I know by far she has the best family out there! For now we'll have to keep you all in the loop via pictures, enjoy!

Good morning all. I just noticed something on this blog site. "Be nice to your kids. They may choose your nursing home." A couple of thoughts. First, no nursing home for either of us. Period. When the time comes, we have plenty of back yard. Put us down, bury us in the back forty. Second, just in case any of you have forgotten, we have been nice to you. So, if choose you must, choose wisely. Third, any such facility, to BE chosen, must have an ample library. And I don't mean a selection of magazines like "Entertainment." Poor library and I will be back to haunt you. Nightly and loudly. Finally, I prefer being put up in one of your homes rather than in a nursing home. How else can I provide your just desserts, for all those years of raising the lot of you? Diaper changing, spoon feeding; I mean, it could be loads of fun for you. At least for us . . . :)

Million Dollar Question: What will the baby(ies) look like?
Taking any and all submissions with your opinions on what the baby will look like. But before you ponder that thought, take a gander at the two pictures below (it may sway your guess). Leona was 5 days old, while Luke was 8 days.

I just received my ATT, authorization to test, for my boards. All I have to do is pick a date and take the test. AAAAAAAHHHHHHH. I got physically sick seeing that. Not that I think I will do bad just that I will actually be doing it. The nerves that I can be a nurse soon it's amazing and totally scary at the same time. I will keep you updated upon the day I will test so that you can help my by praying for me and also I will tell you how I felt and did after I take it but let me say it again AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Just needed to get that out there.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Place your bets.
Thom asked me to make a post. The time is getting closer (although Sarah feels that it is only inching). It is time to place your bets folks.
Place your guess on the baby's:
-weight
-birth date
-gender (take the poll)
-hair color
-eye color
-number of toes
-political party
The winner will be able to take the baby for a sleep over!

Baby Update
I realized that I have not kept you all as well informed about this new baby coming as I should so I will try to make it a little better now. The baby is due in two weeks (Feb. 4th) which means anytime now. They give you a due date and then say that anytime give or take two weeks is normal. So, anytime in the next month, the baby should be here. Luke was born two weeks late but Leona was born the day after her due date, so I expect this one to be right around the due date too. The Big Bear hospital does not deliver (they will air-lift you off the mountain) so we will be going down to Apple Valley to St. Mary's hospital. It should work out well because mom and dad are down there and I was born at St. Mary's so that's kind of cute.
We do not know if the baby is a boy or girl which is driving me crazy, but Thom thinks is fun. At least we have everything that we need because we kept everything from Luke and Leona, but now I have double the stuff out waiting so it's a bit crowded. Also, I wish I could call the baby a him or her and start to bond that way and help the kids prepare better. But it will be exciting to hear "it's a girl" or "it's a boy." My grandpa keeps teasing me about it being twins which I feel confident that it is not! After seeing a friend pregnant with twins, this is not how it usually goes and I do not want to experiance how it would be.
Anyway; Names... We have names picked out but are still "discussing" the details of them. If it's a girl we want to name her Emma-Lee Ann. Thom does not like the hyphen though so we'll have to see how that turns out. We like it because we really like the names Emma and Emily so this was a way to do both. Also, my mom's middle name is Ann and Sharon's middle name is Lee so that makes it a fun family name too. If it's a boy his first name will be Robert after my grandpa and we'll call him Bobby which is just too cute! But we are "discussing" the middle name. I like Robert Donald after both grandpas Huntsinger and DeGriselles but Thom likes Robert Valin from family history. I must admit that Robert Valin is cooler, but I like the grandpa names, so again, we'll have to see how that turns out.
Mostly we are doing well and very ready for this baby to come. The kids are way excited so hopefully they will be just as happy once the baby does come. I know Luke will be great, but Miss Leona is questionable. We'll try to keep you better updated from here on, but there won't really be much to report until those contractions start (hopefully soon).

Temple Blessings
Tim and I "got" to give talks in sacrament today. I gave mine on temple blessings. I really did enjoy this topic. I could only think of good examples and stories and the most positive experiences. It brought a peace to me. I thought I would post some pictures of the temples that mean the most to me.
The Las Vegas, Nevada temple where I did baptisms for the dead. I also did the work for great Aunt Eva whom I was named after.
The San Diego, Ca has always seemed to be one of the most beautiful temple created...and it's in one of the most beautiful places I've ever been.
The Los Angeles, Ca temple is where Timothy and I first were able to make regular temple visits. I was able to learn how important returning often to the temple was here during our first year of marriage.
The Oakland, Ca temple. Oakland is probably in the worst city I have yet visited, but when you're on the temple grounds, it is absolutely worth the trip. This temple is quite literally an oasis and is again our temple.
And of course the Redlands, Ca temple. Timothy and I were sealed for time and all eternity in this gorgeous little temple. I also was able to work as a volunteer for the open house.
